About
Granted with honors by Capella University, I hold a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology. I was a Regional Patient Behavioral Consultant working with a variety of modalities to treat mental illness including neurofeedback therapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation therapy. I then started working at a hospital system treating eating disorders, mood disorders, thinking disorders, and personality disorders. I have intensive training in crisis prevention, specializing in de-escalation and behavior management, utilizing appropriate coping skills, and making a plan for ongoing treatment. I treat with a clinical intervention to identify triggers that may have led to self-harm behaviors or suicidal attempt.

I continued my clinical work at a private practice. I became trained in evidenced-based expression therapy including play therapy, art therapy, and sandplay therapy to use both verbal and nonverbal therapeutic interventions to explore a person’s inner thoughts, struggles, and concerns.

I have training in multiple evidence-based therapy approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment, and trauma-based interventions.
I mainly work with clients who struggle with anxiety, ADHD, depression, eating disorders, OCD, life transitions, self-esteem, stress, and trauma/PTSD. I help my clients heal their wounded parts and manage fear of rejection and abandonment through self-compassion and radical acceptance. I support my clients with breaking free from toxic/abusive relationships.
My approach is empathetic, validating, client-centered, and direct to meet your needs and goals. There are no quick fixes but developing life skills can improve your overall well-being. I offer a safe platform where my clients are finally heard and validated. I believe that everyone has truth within themselves to unlock questions and dispose disbeliefs.
